This approx. 1/16th" piece of Hair of Opera Singer Maria Callas is presented on a framed exhibition sheet 8 1/2 X 11" inches. The hair itself is in a 1 3/4 by 1 3/8 24k Gilded locket . In addition there is a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Mr Louis Mushro.

Maria Callas, born in 1923, was an American-Greek soprano, and one of the most renowned opera singers of the 20th century. She combined an impressive bel canto technique, a wide-ranging voice and great dramatic gifts. An extremely versatile singer, her repertoire ranged from classical opera seria to the bel canto operas of Donizetti, Bellini and Rossini; further, to the works of Verdi and Puccini; and, in her early career, to the music dramas of Wagner. Her remarkable musical and dramatic talents led to her being hailed as La Divina, and she was considered one of the most inspirational and influential women of her time.
